Threadless

Recently been spending time on the Threadless website, even submitting some stuff in the hopes of getting printed/scoring cash for my kilimanjaro adventure. What a bunch of fucking idiots. Nothing but egomaniacs, emo kids, losers, illiterates and loonies. Honestly, I vowed not to quit until I got something printed but I don't know if I can handle it. ARGH.

I also don't understand why people shamelessly self-promote their designs within the stupid blog forum, where surely only a tiny percentage of members hang out. People ask for design advice, often to a point that is disgraceful. I think also this falsely bolsters their hopes of getting printed. Just because the asses in the blog community like it, doesn't mean the Threadless crew doesn't already know it's absolute crap. Some designs have a snowball's chance in hell, yet are lauded and cheered in the blog forum. Sigh. It's fucking depressing. And nobody can spell. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH.

The matury level is dismal, too. I am really starting to get frustrated. Yet the concept is genius. Where is the Threadless for adults?? Design contest for designers. Sigh.

This is my blog, damn it.

Yes, I've joined the ranks of online bloggers. I hope to use this not as some sort of egomaniacal showcase but as more of a place to keep track of all the cool stuff I come across—quotes, links, etc. Of course, waxing on occasionally is inevitable. A girl has gotta rant. We'll see what happens.
