Bagpipes

Ok, I admit it, though it's a little embarrassing—I used to play the bagpipes. Took lessons and everything. What eventually killed it all for me though is that, honestly, it was just me and a bunch of old men... more than your average 12 year old girl (even a strange one) could handle. So I quit. But I do have a soft spot.

Now here comes this silly music blog I occasionally read showcasing bagpipes in various indie rock music. I'm ashamed to say I never noticed the bagpipes in the Church's Under the Milky Way or in the Rilo Kiley. Oops.

... though actually, my cat is much rounder than this creature. He came that way and I can't seem to change his shape. Ah well.
