Daily View, 4/26

Well, in slightly less than a month the first year of my thirties will be over. I'm not quite sure how I feel about that. Part of me says aw, fuckit. Another part of me just says aw, fuck. Meanwhile, I have become too busy to blog here regularly... not that anyone has really noticed. Ah well.

  • This girl stopped blogging altogether. Her reasons why make good sense to me.

  • High Fidelity the Musical... and I thought Point Break Live was wrong.

  • I'm a sucker for these Nel cutout chairs. No shedding. Har har.

  • Anything that is Tetris-esque is fine by me: the Amadana cooking timer... Note: my disgruntled disillusionment with the blogosphere continues as I see that %)@#!*%& Boing Boing featured this timer TODAY, whereas I saw it on Gizmodo 12 DAYS AGO. 12 days in blog time is like a goddamned eternity, yet Boing Boing is touted as generally hot and in the know. Bullshit. I'm starting to realize that there is no magic out there, it's just people who are only as powerful as their internet resources. Jaysus.

  • Well, there is just no quiz I can take that doesn't verify my extreme Mirandaness. This one doesn't even give me the usual high perecentage (I've never scored anything lower than 85% Miranda), it just flat out declares that:

    Sex and the City

  • Speaking of cats, still haven't made it to the Moscow Cat Theatre.

  • Unicorns!

  • I am a Grup. If you make it through the whole article, you have me basically defined. Now I just gotta find myself a nice gruppy boy, have some mohawked kids, and ride off into the retro sunset as the Death Cab plays... ha, you think I'm kidding?

  • Damn it, I always wanted an awesome treehouse—good thing it's not too late thanks to Tom Chudleigh. Bless'im.

  • The BBC Archive of TV & Radio programs is online and pretty amazing. What happened on the day I was born? The Queen was in Japan. Cool.

  • And speaking of Tetris, watch a Grandmaster at his game. Watching this, I think I finally understand what people who enjoy televised sports must experience.. the quickened pace, the anticipation, the tension, the cheering, the flat out awe... damn.

  • Tekserve is the best. Glad their ad is going big as iPods fall...

  • More with the online quizes... I took this test (thanks Ginna) that is supposed to determine which John Cusack movie your life most resembles. My discouraging (and really kind of terrifying) result? WTF:

    Your Life is Like

    Being John Malkovich
